A few months ago I decided to take up gardening, it started out as two plants and now have a full blown miniature vegetable garden started on my balcony. I’m not sure I can take up the title of green thumb just yet, so if anyone has any tips for caring for squash varietals and getting a fig tree to mature successfully, hit me up!
- Gardening Tote: Easily keep and tote around all your gardening tools with this handy gardening bag. Keep tools organized with the various pockets, think of it as a gardener’s tool bag. I desperately need to invest in a gardening tote because the small galvanized planter I have been using is not cutting it.
- Hand Soap: This soap called “gardener’s hand soap” would make a sweet addition to a gift for your green thumb friend. It has a gentle exfoliant to lift any dirt and grime from your hands.
- Watering Can: Good for watering small potted plants this watering can allows you to both water and mist plants with the handy, built-in misting nozzle.
- Plant Props: Climb, support, weave with these fun little plant props. They are perfect for small plants that need support.
- Waterproof Clogs: It’s easy to get your feet dirty when you are outside in the garden, these protect your feet from dirt and are easy to wash down after.
- Gardening Gloves: Gloves are key to keeping you from spending a ton of time cleaning dirt from under your fingernails. These elastic band keep annoying velcro out of the mis, just pull them on and off.
- Hairpin Frog: If you are into flower arranging, consider investing in arrangement frogs. Hairpin frogs like this are the most versatile for floral arrangements due to the number of pins but aren’t as pretty as glass ones, use these with more opaque vessels.
- Flower Spoons: I have these spoons at my coffee station and they bring the perfect amount of whimsy to my morning cup.
- Garden Tools: Every gardener needs their tools, this starter set gets you some of the basics. If nothing else you at least need a spade to start gardening.
- Floral Napkins: Bring the garden inside to your table with these sweet embroidered floral napkins, the poppy red detail adds the perfect pop of color.
- Gathering Basket: For the flower gardener, this basket is perfect for laying all your stems safely while clipping them for an arrangement.
- Garden Shears: Necessary for both clipping stems for arrangements and pruning back vegetable plants, I like to have a few pairs in my gardening arsenal.
