With the New Year in full swing, I thought it was time to put out some guides for assembling the perfect, curated home bar. I realized there are so many items I like that I thought I would theme them, this one is for the graphic black & white aficionado. My favorite piece on here is the penguin cocktail shaker that is inspired after the original Napier penguin cocktail shaker designed by Emil A. Schuelke in the 1930s, it’s equal parts whimsical and Art Deco.
- Penguin Cocktail Shaker: The cutest, and currently on sale.
- Bottle Opener: I love this black and white inlay bottle opener, who says you can’t open your beer in style?
- Decanter: This decanter is so modern and cool and I love the smokey ombre glass.
- Ice Bucket: I was obsessed with this ice bucket when I first saw it, I thought it was so cool, unfortunately it doesn’t really match the rest of my decor but know it will be perfect for someone else.
- Cutting Board: This board is a good under $50 gift and already comes with a matching spreader knife.
- Coasters: Everyone needs coasters, especially if you have wood furniture and want to avoid water rings. I like to have multiple sets stashed throughout the house just in case.
- Bitters: If you have an aspiring mixologist in your life, get them this bitters variety pack that will add a twist to their drinks.
- Black Dot Glasses: Italian hand-blown glass makes each of these glasses unique and are both perfect for a party but also casual enough for everyday use.
- Checkerboard Bar Tools: It’s no secret that I love checkerboard, so these bar tools were no exception. It’s something about the high contrast coloring and the geometric patterning that make these so pleasing to the eye.
- Mixing Glass: While this isn’t black and white, the etched glass is a perfect backdrop for all the other barware.
