As someone who loves to cook, I wanted to put together a short curated gift guide of items that all the home chefs in your life would love.
- Brightland Olive Oil Duo: I’ve been seeing this specialty oil brand all over with rave reviews and have been so intrigued. This duo comes with two of their classic olive oils but they also have a selection of flavored olive oils as well as balsamic and champagne vinegar.
- Brass Salt and Pepper Mills: Made by a family-run business in Greece, these mills are based off a tried and true design used by Greek soldiers in the early 20th century. Not only do they feel like a little piece of history, but they are beyond gorgeous.
- Electric Kettle: I’m a huge tea drinker, but it wasn’t until I was in college that I went from a stovetop kettle to an electric one and it was truly life changing. It’s so fast, turns itself off when it finishes boiling, and this one is really cute.
- Golden Rabbit Bowls: I have a pot by this company and it’s a unique pattern (and the pot heats up so quickly on the stove). These enamelware bowls are stovetop safe so you can heat food in the oven or on the stove without taking it out of the bowl, and the lids also mean you can easily store food. The bowls in this set aren’t very big so they are more geared towards storing and reheating food rather than mixing bowls (which they also offer).
- Salt Cellar: Salt is one of the primary components of cooking (Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat anyone?) so having it within easy reaching distance when cooking is key. I love this little salt cellar, especially because it comes with the sweetest little wooden scoop.
- Copper Teaspoons: In any baker’s kitchen, an extra set of measuring spoons always comes in handy. These ones are durable and easy to keep clean while still being pretty. Pair with matching measuring cups.
- Marble Butter Keeper: Based on a classic french design, this butter bell keeps butter soft and fresh without refrigeration for up to a week.
- Staub Dutch Oven: Staub will last for years and years to come and this size is versatile. Also Food52 is having a sale right now that can’t be beat on this pot.
- Anthropologie Dish Cloths: These pretty dish cloths make doing the dishes just a little bit better, the first wash they shrink a little but it brings out the texture of the rags that is useful for cleaning. These would pair well with a couple of other items or added to a hostess gift basket
- Teak Wooden Spoons: I feel like people either love or hate wooden spoons, I am in the camp that loves them and thinks you can never have too many. This set of 5 is the perfect variety pack for different uses.
- Ceramic Measuring Cups: While not as functional as metal or plastic measuring cups, these make a great gift because they are still useful but are also pretty enough to become part of the decor.
- Baker’s Apron: I love this retro inspired apron that just looks like it belongs in a bakery. I also love an apron that has a front pocket or pockets to stash things in as you move around the kitchen.
- Marble Mortar + Pestle: This is another useful item that makes a pretty kitchen decor piece and comes in handy for anyone needing to grind up spices or muddle mint for a mojito.
- Savannah Bee Honeycomb: Honeycomb is delicious paired with thin slices of granny smith apples and cheese. This would make a cute gift pared with a small wooden cheeseboard and some wood spoons or cheese knives.
