I was doing some Christmas shopping this weekend which includes finding the perfect something for each of my sisters. Since the age gap between all my older sister and the younger ones is 7 and 9 years that usually means they like different things so I put together a gift guide for things I think she would like as compared to my two college aged sisters. Some of these are a little luxe, but don’t we older sisters deserve a little more? Just kidding…
- Wolford Socks: These I actually just ordered for my older sister as part of her Christmas present after seeing my (very stylish) boss had a cute semi-sheer pair similar to these from here that she had for years and years and loved. I also got a pair in a different pattern and can’t wait to get them and give a little review.
- Laura Mercier Body Butter: Winter dryness is a struggle so any kind of luxurious body cream is never a bad idea.
- Beaded Headband: I got an ad for Jennifer Behr and instantly had to click, while these are definitely speedy they are beautiful and very in right now. I love this full beaded pearl headband because I feel like it is more unique than some of the other plain velvet ones they offer.
- Velvet Bow: This is another Jennifer Behr item and is one of their signature bows, the black is a classic but they have a bunch of colors plus some embellished options that are really cute.
- PMD Skincare Tool: I’ve been fascinated by this Microderm skincare tool for some time, because what’s second to an actual spa visit? A spa visit at home.
- Dior Lipstick: I just got this lipstick and it is so velvety and they have such great colors, pictured is their Red color 999.
- Gisou Hair Oil: I got this recently as a gift and so far have no complaints. I used to with velcro curlers because I had seen someone somewhere post that it helps them come out easier. I would only advise to use it sparingly and towards the ends as to not weigh down your hair.
- Ouai Chill Pill Bath Bombs: I love the simplicity of the packaging, they just look clean and high end and are pretty enough to leave sitting by your bath for when you need one.
- Fuzzy Ear Muffs: This addition was also inspired by my older sister’s actual wish list, I’m not an earmuff person because I have multiple cartilage piercings and they press into them but even I’ll admit when
- Earrings: I feel like when I have no other ideas I tend to get jewelry as a gift, Revolve has tons of cute earrings but I thought that these were really fun.
- Facial Roller: Facial rollers have become really trendy lately but I like this brand because it is a family run business that is rooted in traditional Chinese medicine.
- Bubble Bath: This bubble bath is almost too pretty to use and is sure to make a great addition to anyone’s bathroom.
- Champagne Coupes: Estelle is known for their colored glasses, I love the blush pink color that are perfectly girly but without a simple sophisticated silhouette
- Tea Kettle: The Mackenzie Childs patterns aren’t usually my thing but I’ve been really into checkerboard lately and I felt like this worked in a strange way with the overall vibe of this board like it is a little bit of comfort amongst the glamour, plus who doesn’t love a cup of hot tea.
